  •  Citizenship Loan Program

HCLF is offering Citizenship Loans toqualified individuals working with IICONN
to apply for US citizenship.

  •  How does it work?

HCLF’s Citizenship Loan can reduce the financial barriers of applying for citizenship
by allowing you to finance a portion of the citizenship application costs. On-time
loan payments can assist in establishing or building your credit score.

  •  Who should apply for a Citizenship Loan?

Citizenship applicants who are otherwise unable to finance the costs of the application
Citizenship applicants who are trying to build or establish credit

  •  What are some of the details of the Loan Program?

Loan Size: $500 to $1,000
Loan Term: 6 to 18 months
No collateral required
Terms and Fees: 12% interest and $35 nonrefundable application fee; no annual
fee; no prepayment penalty Citizenship Applicants work with IICONN, a partner organization specializing in helping clients prepare successful citizenship applications
HCLF staff work one-on-one with clients to build a budget and review how credit works, to review the client’s own credit report, and to develop a strategy for establishing or building credit HCLF staff continues the relationship with clients after loan origination to provide support towards the client’s financial goals
